Hello Friends,
So I am a New Jersey Resident and I thought going to Rutgers will be a good idea since its the cheapest option. However, it turns out that due to my financial standings I will probably not get financial aid. My dad is the only one that works and although we are well off, even rutgers seems expensive with no aid.
I want to apply to colleges that will give me a full ride given my act score. Here's my list of colleges so far:
- Rutgers University
-The College of New Jersey
-Johns Hopkins University (just for the heck of it)
I participate in many extracurricular activities and go to a well ranked and known high school.
My ACT SCORES:
COMPOSITE: 32
English: 33
Math: 32
Reading: 33
Science: 30
Writing: 36
After lurking around CC :D and college websites, I decided on applying to:
-Howard University
-Fairleigh Dickinsion University
~~~ My LAST RESORT is to go to Passaic County Community College. My dad works there so everything will be free. The plan is to go there for two years and since all the credits are transferable to Rutgers, I will get a final Rutgers bachelor's degree. This sounds good but the thing is I want to be DOCTOR and so I don't want to compromise my chances of getting into med school by choosing this route.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?? LOL gotta love college fees! What colleges should I apply to that will give me a full ride scholarship given my ACT score? The max I can spend without stressing my dad would be about 15,000$ a year.
