Hi everyone,
I'm currently stuck in a situation where I can't get financial aid. I am 22 so I am unable to claim independent on the fafsa. This was fine up until my mother decided not to pay her taxed for two years. I had asked her several times to file them so I could go back to school, but nothing has come of it. I am no longer in contact with her.
I had talked to the financial aid office at my previous school and they said there was nothing they could do for me.
Does anyone know of any other options or maybe legal action I could take?
