Hello. Hopefully someone out there can help me.
I recently transferred from a community college to a university and qualified for the Cal Grant B Transfer Entitlement (E2) for the 2016-2017 school year.
But my university says that they can't accept the grant because I attended the university over the 2016 summer quarter. Since the school year spans from fall to summer the university does not consider me a transfer student for the 2016-2017 school year since I was technically there for the 2015-2016 school year.
Other than that I check all the boxes to have qualified for the Cal Grant and this is the first time I applied. Is there any way around this issue?
