Many schools I am applying to do not require letters of recommendation, but I am trying to figure out if it would still be useful to get one. Would a good letter of recommendation increase my scholarship chances, or would it only be used for admissions? For instance, Purdue (OOS) is kind of stingy with scholarships and It's a safety/target school so I don't need a letter to get in, but would it help scholarship chances??? Other schools on my list with the same situation: Ohio State, Iowa State, U Iowa. Planning on mechanical engineering
Stats: 5.5/5 GPA
34 ACT
9 APs
