Greetings,
I graduated from Queens Borough Community College (CUNY) last semester and I transferred to Queens College (CUNY) this fall. I was told by my Financial aid advisor that I need to have 12 credits towards my major in order to receive Tap awards. I enrolled in 4 classes for this term therefore I have 12 credits. The lowest/first math for computer science major is Math-122 Pre-calculus but I don't meet the prerequisites which is Math-115 College algebra for pre-calculus. Moreover, I am taking Math-115 with other classes but i was informed by financial aid advisor that I might not be eligible for tap awards because Math-115 don't qualify for my major. I told my advisor that I need that class in order to take Math-122 and technically it is for my major. She haven't responded for a week and I am really worried. Can someone please confirm this?
Thank you in advance.
