Are there good scholarship resources independent of schools out there? I've had sites that have a lot of $500 dollars or $1000 dollar scholarships that are just by chance. I'm looking for a site that would offer more substantial scholarships that maybe I write an essay or do a project for. I don't have tippy top stats so more like scholarships for women in stem, students who deal with chronic illness, and students who do a lot of volunteer work would be scholarships I would apply for.
