I am wondering with the schools that publish their scholarship criteria-- how will the new SAT test affect that? Will the criteria change? We are wondering if we should just have our 2017 do the ACT... I am not even sure how effective prep classes will be for the new SAT being as there isn't the kind of data and such availalbe historically.
She is taking a prep class in high school right now-- they did a pre and post prep test and her score went up significantly on the post (math section)-- this was the old SAT format though. She is going to take the old format in January and see how she does... but we are not sure what to do after that. We are willing to spring for another prep class if needed-- with our 3rd daughter it was well worth the money in the scholarship she got with the higher score.
Our 2017 is our 4th of 5 to be going to college so getting good scholarships is really important and we need to know what she has to shoot for as far as scores. Any insight is welcome.
