Need help here. I've Googled my question and got different answers.
When filling out FAFSA for the 2017-2018 school year is it mandatory to use 2015 income or is it optional? Can I use 2016 income?
I am asking because my income has dramatically decreased for 2016 and I don't see it going back to 2015 levels. It would definitely be to our advantage to use 2016 income.
