I got into a couple Ivies, but indicated on my application that I didn't want to apply for financial aid. However, my parent lost a job and found a new one in the middle of the application process. This new job pays less, though we are still able to live rather comfortably. Now, we are reevaluating and thinking that we might qualify for a bit of aid (every bit counts). I know the ivies are very generous, and the rep we contacted at one of them said that it is still possible to submit the different forms (but I feel like this was just them saying that).
Is it truly still possible to submit the forms? Also, when my sibling goes to college next year, will I get a better aid package from the Ivy I eventually matriculate to?
