Hello, I am a senior at a high school in Tennessee, and have been accepted into UTC. A couple of weeks ago, I logged into my UTC account and discovered that I was offered a scholarship along with the other usual things (loans, etc.). However, it now states that I am no longer eligible for the scholarship I was offered since I did not respond to UTC in time. I called the Financial Aid office at UTC and they claimed to have sent me a letter telling me about the scholarship information (which needed to be filled out and then sent to them) but I am very certain that I never received it. Since I was not able to accept the scholarship online, I simply waited for them to send me this scholarship letter, but because I did not receive it, I was not able to send them a letter back telling them that I accepted their scholarship, therefore leading to the rescindation of my scholarship. What should I do? I'm completely clueless and so worried, since I really needed this scholarship to minimize my college debt. I've worked very hard to maintain my grades and am pretty much breaking down at this point. Please give me your advice. And thank you so much for your time in advance.
