I don't really know if I want to participate in federal work study or get a student loan. On fafsa and on a Georgia Tech financial aid application, should I select all federal programs. If I select all, am I obligated to anything or can I decide whether I want it or not.
For example:
If you select any of the Federal programs below, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be required (available January 1, 2016):
Federal Work Study - Student Employment Program
Federal Direct Subsidized Student Loan - Must be an undergraduate student to apply/qualify for this loan program
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Student Loan
Federal Direct PLUS Loan - For Parent(s) of Dependent Undergraduate Students. The parent is the borrower on a PLUS loan, and receipt requires credit approval. This credit check will occur after the Direct Parent PLUS Loan Request form is completed but not more than 90 days before the semester start date.
Federal Direct Grad PLUS Loan - Must be a graduate student to apply/qualify for this loan program, and receipt requires credit approval. This credit check will occur after the request form is completed but not more than 90 days before the semester start date.
